Was reading this Slashdot article on the new captcha in Gmail's login process to disable third-party notifiers. Since there is no Linux port of the official Gmail notifier, I use Doron Rosenberg's excellent Firefox extension. Checking to make sure that the automatic login still worked, I noticed a curious link. "Invite 5 friends to Gmail," it proclaimed. At first, I thought it was an ad, but it was on the left side of the screen, not the right.

Anyway, the rules are as I stated in the comments in the previous entry about Gmail. If I know you or you have commented here at any point during the last nine months, drop me a line below. If I have any left after next Wednesday, first-come, first-serve.

UPDATE: Make that 6 invites, not 4. Sheesh.
