I found a link to the official campaign blog of Barack Obama, a Democratic candidate for an Illinois senate seat on Atrios' Eschaton, noting that Obama was willing to have a series of six debates with his opponent, Jack Ryan. Having read some things (all good) about Obama, I was not surprised. However, I did not expect his blog to have both comments and trackback enabled. Most blogs for political campaigns that I have seen did not have comments enabled (I assume to protect against trolls).

John Kerry's official blog has comments, but no trackback. Bush's blog has neither, confirming that Republicans are evil censors of free speech and public debate.
